• Driver Educational Program in Schools

  Ray provides a Driver Education Course for Post-Primary Schools. Driver education targeted at the young driver, assists in developing appropriate attitudes and responsible behaviours, before getting behind the wheel of a car. This is particularly important as young drivers have a higher accident risk than more experienced drivers and younger beginners have the highest risk, being five times more likely to be involved in a collision. This is can be due to anything from lack of experience, false confidence and peer pressure etc. Road accidents form the largest category of deaths in the 17 to 24 year old age group.

  The principal aim of this theory-based program is therefore to improve road safety, highlighting the risks and consequences of inappropriate driving and a careless attitude. The course delivered in a classroom setting aims to provide an understanding and instruction in the areas listed below.

• Driver Risk Assessment for Businesses

  Ray provides Driver Risk Assessment services and Advanced Driving instruction for your business. Driving for work includes any person who drives as part of their work either in a company owned vehicle or their own vehicle whilst receiving a driving allowance for distance covered. Studies have shown that drivers of company cars are involved in 30-40% more collisions than ordinary drivers, with risk increasing with distance covered. As an employer, you have a duty of care to ensure and promote the safety of your employees whilst using a work-related vehicle.
